Black Hills Photos

Our Friday Black Hills Photo Shoot did not include Angostura Lake at sunrise. We left at 10:00AM, and drove out Sheridan Lake Drive from our home office. We shot video along the way that will be a part of a visitor guide. We included some of the Black National Forest hiking spots, where you can pull of the road, park and hike into some nice areas. Our intent is to help travelers  recognize signs, highways, and directions to several nice stops to consider from our central Central Black Hills location. Yesterday we covered the roads from our departure point, to Blue Belle Lodge, Sheridan Lake, Lake Pactola and visitor center. We also stopped at a 1950′s theme park (The Boondocks) featuring shops, museum items, 50′s memorabilia, and carnival rides.

Not far north from the Boondocks, we drove the 10 short miles north to Historic Deadwood. We spent most of the day in Deadwood at the newly remodeled “Deadwood Mountain Grand Hotel, Casino, and Event Center”.
